Adult Summer Reading Program "Build A Better World"
The Adult Summer Reading Program is Here!
June 27th-August 29th, 2017
Join us for the “Build A Better World” Summer Reading Kick-Off on June 27th.
All ages welcome!
Opening ceremony begins at 6:30pm and then all are invited to
Jungle John’s Jurassic Journey family program.
Summer reading program registration will open for kids, teens, and adults.
The summer reading program is a great way to show how much you love to read! The 2017 national theme is “Build A Better World” and we will be celebrating with themed programming all summer long.
You can sign up and get your registration bag at the Library Circulation Desk anytime after the kick-off event. Once registered, keep track of the books you read in your reading log. Write down the author and title of each book, along with a 1-2 sentence book review. For each book you read, you can enter your name into the weekly prize drawings! Winners will be announced at 11am every Friday.
All who participate in the weekly drawings will automatically be entered for the chance to win our grand prizes at the end of the summer at the
Adult Summer Reading Party on August 29th from 3-5pm.
NEW this year is the Readers’ Club, where twice a month you can share and discuss your favorite books over light refreshments.
