Fifty Years Ago Today—February 9, 1964—

We American’s got our first dose of “Beatlemania” when a new rock band from
England with long hair and a crazy name made their U.S. debut performance on the “Ed Sullivan Show”.
Things haven’t been the same since.

Aug. 13th - Beatles '65 - Beatles Vl - Help - Growth in song writing - Japan - Philippines - John makes a blunt remark - A few clouds - Rubber Soul.

Aug. 20th - The Big Shift - Revolver - Sgt. Pepper - Psychedelia - Mystery Tour - White Album - Divisions - Abbey Road

With videos, music samples, and discussions we’ll see how The Beatles

transformed rock and roll with their fresh approach to songwriting,
instrumentation, fashion, design and social consciousness.
