Introduction to Computers with Internet and Email

Beginner Class for those with little or NO computer experience. The class is taught in the Library’s computer lab.
Part 1: 2 weeks—October 14 and 21
Learn the basic fundamentals of the computer: navigation, basic vocabulary, dialog boxes, storage devices, and file management. The skills learned in this class will give you a strong foundation on which to build future computer experiences.
Part 2: 4 weeks—October 28 through November 18
Learn Internet and E-Mail basics: vocabulary, search engines, and navigating the web and internet safety; create a Gmail account; compose mail; create contacts and groups; manage your mail; add and open attachments.
This is a true beginner course.
