Program of Events

♦Sunday, October 25th

All Things Irish:  Come celebrate "All Things Irish"! There will be a talk by guest speaker Georgina Shanley, and musical performances by The Emerald Isle Academy of Irish Dance as well as The Holy Spirit Chorale with Joseph Votta on bagpipes. 

•Sunday, November 1st

Screening of the movie, Orphan Train:  Hear from guest speaker Reverend Dorothy Gerken as she speaks about "What My Father Never Told Me" and from Tom McGrath as he presents an authentic replica of the orphan train. This will be followed by a screening of the movie, Orphan Train.

•Monday, November 2nd

A Talk with Author Christina Baker Kline:  Christina Baker Kline, the author of Orphan Train, will speak about her book and be available for book signings.


Come see an 1850's era O Gauge model train similar to those in the book, Orphan Train! The train will be on display at the Ocean City Historical Museum for the month of October. This train has been generously loaned for display by owner Tom McGrath.
