Time: 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM

A Talk by Dan Skeldon at the Ocean City Public Library!

El Nino.  The Polar Vortex.  Will both or either impact our upcoming winter?  The Farmer’s Almanac says it is going to be a cold and snowy winter.  But is there any truth to that?   Press of Atlantic City meteorologist Dan Skeldon will discuss what he expects may happen during the upcoming winter of 2015-16.  Will there be pipe-freezing cold like the last few winters?  How about a major snowstorm?  Or a snowy March for the third straight year?  Dan will give his winter forecast, and take questions from the audience on any South Jersey weather topic.   He’ll also review this year’s hurricane season, and look ahead to what 2016 may hold in store…

Meteorologist Dan Skeldon has been forecasting South Jersey weather for 12 years, 11 as chief meteorologist for NBC40 before it went off the air in December of 2014.  He now serves as meteorologist for The Press of Atlantic City and for Longport Media radio stations.

You can email Dan at dskeldon@pressofac.com, or visit him on social media.  Dan keeps up a very active presence on both Facebook and Twitter, and has a nightly live stream on Facebook that you can watch and interact with live.
