Film Screening of AMERICAN EXPERIENCE: The Boys of ‘36. A new documentary from PBS highlights the 1936 University of Washington crew team whose victories spurred hope in America during the Great Depression.

Discussion with Two-Time Olympian Michael Wherley. Mr. Wherley will be sharing his experiences and memorabilia from rowing in the Olympics, as well as his thoughts on our community reads book. He is a 2-time Olympian and 3-time World Champion in the sport of rowing, and is currently President at Penn AC Rowing Association in Philadelphia.

Screening of a Talk by Author Daniel James Brown. Join us in our final event of the OC Reads Series! We will be showing a video presentation by The Boys in the Boat author Daniel James Brown from his 2015 Talk in Bellingham, Washington.
