Tim Urban
“Inside the Mind of a Master Procrastinator”
In our TED talk for February 11th, Tim Urban presents a talk
apropos for many of us, “Inside the mind of a master procrastinator.” Tim knows that procrastination doesn't make sense, but he's never been able to shake his habit of waiting until the last minute to get things done. In this hilarious and insightful talk, Tim takes us on a journey through YouTube binges, Wikipedia rabbit holes and bouts of staring out the window — and encourages us to think harder about what we're really procrastinating on--before we run out of time. And at 10.5 million views since last February, this is the most watched TED talk we’ve ever presented at the Library, so don’t put off coming to it.
TED stands for Technology, Entertainment and Design, and the TED talks feature experts in a variety of fields who present unique ways of looking at their respective fields of expertise.
Everyone is welcome to these free sessions.
A discussion will take place after the lecture.
