WRITE YOUR OWN MEMOIRS AT THE LIBRARY

A FREE, 8-WEEK WRITING WORKSHOP MODERATED BY EVA FEELEY

This Class is now Full

Have you longed to tell the stories of your life but can’t imagine where to begin or end? Do you believe your life has not been exciting enough to record and leave for posterity? Has your life been unusual and fascinating but you lack confidence as a writer?

This workshop will provide a solution for any excuse that may have been holding you back. You’ll be taught the “snapshot method” of memoir writing and the necessity of choosing the “scope” of your story. You’ll learn to weave the history of your times into your personal story. You’ll be introduced to the techniques in the fiction writers’ arsenal and learn to use them to make your non-fiction sparkle. The only requirements for this workshop are basic writing skills and lots of  memories

.
*Participants must bring their own pencils and notebooks, and must be available for all eight sessions.*
*Registration required*
