Sunday, May 14th, 2017 2pm

Michael Pedicin will lead a discussion and performance,"The Making and Marketing of my new JAZZ CD, 'As It Should Be'." This program will include a performance of the original music by Michael's recording and touring quintet, and a discussion of how these 5 musicians go about writing, creating, rehearsing, recording, and performing this new music. The composer of 8 original compositions, Los Angeles-based Johnnie Valentino will be there to discuss his creative process as well. Also, Michael will explain the concept and meaning of the title track and CD title, "As It Should Be." A question and answer period will be permitted at the end of the performance.

Sunday, June 11th, 2017 2pm

"The Italian Tenors (tenor saxophones, that is!)" will perform jazz and classical music with four tenor (saxophone) voices. In addition, there also will be an organist and a drummer to complete the ensemble. The music and coordination of four tenor saxophones (voices) will be explained and discussed, as well as each musician's interpretation of his role in this dynamic group.
