Grammar for Writers

How to Use Grammar to Improve Your Writing Style

Using my book, Excuse Me Your Participle's Dangling: How to Use Grammar to Make Your Writing Powers Soar, as a reference point, I'll discuss how writers can use grammar to help them with all their writing tasks. I'll discuss how to vary sentence structure to make readers sit up and listen and how to use parts of speech, such as verbs, to their best advantage. I'll also address why strong verbs and nouns, versus weak ones, make a significant difference in both written and spoken communication. Further, I'll talk about using punctuation to impart more meaning to writing.
A question/answer session will follow.
