Acclaimed International Concert violinist Dr. David Podles commemorates the magnificent European Romantic Era composers from years past.
Travel with him through the Romantic epoch, hearing his violin evoking the veritable rapture that classical music creates and celebrate the exquisite compositions that were so brilliantly crafted.
Accompanied by pianist, Irina Kupchik.
Dr. David Podles of Riga, Latvia, is laureate of three prestigious international competitions and graduated from Conservatory in Riga with PhD in music. He performed in symphony, chamber, opera and ballet theater orchestras both solo, in orchestra and on tour across Russia, including The Bolshoi and Kirov, throughout Europe and the U.S. David has performed at Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, 92nd Y and at Top of the Rock at Rockefeller Center.
Irina Kupchik began playing piano at age 6. She went on to earn a PhD in music from the Riga Conservatory in Riga, Latvia alongside violinist David Podles. Irina then went on to a grand stage and touring career as his piano accompanist, concertizing throughout the former Soviet Union and Europe before she and David settled in New York City.
