Lisa Genova

“What you can do to prevent Alzheimer’s”

Our TED talk for this Saturday is a timely and encouraging one by Lisa Genova, author of Still Alice, entitled, “What you can do to prevent Alzheimer’s.” “Alzheimer's doesn't have to be your brain's destiny,” says neuroscientist Lisa Genova. She shares the latest science investigating the disease -- and some promising research on what each of us can do to build an Alzheimer's-resistant brain. This talk was recorded this year so the data is very recent, so give yourself an early Christmas present—learn how you can reduce the odds significantly of getting Alzheimer’s or other dementias.

TED stands for Technology, Entertainment and Design, and the TED talks feature experts in a variety of fields who present unique ways of looking at their respective fields of expertise.

Everyone is welcome to these free sessions.

A discussion will take place after the lecture.
