Jane Fonda

“Life’s Third Act”

Our TED talk for this Saturday features Jane Fonda in a talk all of us from the age of our late fifties on should watch, hopefully with the rest of us TEDdies, but if not at home, entitled, “Life’s Third Act.”

Our generation has been given an extra 34 years of life versus our great grandparents, and how we are handling these extra 34 years, the third act, is a hot topic among psychologists.  And they feel strongly that the last third of our lives now is as different as mid-life is from childhood.

Jane asks how we can re-imagine this new phase of our lives, and discusses how we can make these added years really successful.

So please join us for a real eye-opening talk about how we seniors can live a more meaningful and successful “Third Act.”

TED stands for Technology, Entertainment and Design, and the TED talks feature experts in a variety of fields who present unique ways of looking at their respective fields of expertise.

Everyone is welcome to these free sessions.

A discussion will take place after the lecture.
