Legacy Letter Writing and Grandparent’s Journal
A Free, 4-Week Writing workshop moderated by Eva Feeley
Legacy Letter Writing – One Session (February 20th)
Similar to an ethical will, a personal legacy letter is written to share what has been most important in your life with the most important people in your life. It is intended to be shared with loved ones while you are still alive, perhaps at a special family
occasion. Using an outline, participants will complete a rough draft of their letter during one 90-minute session. If you are interested in creating a more
detailed document, you may decide to participate in...
Grandparent’s Journal – A 3-Session Workshop (Starting February 27th)
Despite the title, you needn’t have grandchildren to prepare this document. Any loved younger person would be a grateful recipient of your journal. Using an outline provided by the instructor, participants journal their memories and wisdom to the intended recipient/s. During the course of three weekly sessions, we will write
information about family, roots, school days, falling in love, and end with our wishes for the readers of our journal.
*Participants must bring their own pencils and notebooks.*
