Foundation Center

Probably the first place on the web to check for nonprofit concerns.  A directory of 61,000 nonprofit organizations; resources for donors, nonprofit administrators and fundraisers; statistics on foundations and their funding histories; news; trends; technology; and much more are available at this premier site.  With an online classroom, an online library with material about all conceivable nonprofit subjects, resources for putting your organization on the web at no cost, a newsletter, a biweekly Request for Proposals Bulletin, and an online question and answer service.

Foundations Online

"Browse the foundation directory, pick a listed foundation, search any foundation's information page or search any foundation's home page. Foundation home pages may contain downloadable information such as grant applications, newsletters, financial reports, and e-mail capabilities."

Center for Nonprofit Corporations

"Founded in 1982, the Center is a charitable umbrella organization serving New Jersey's non-profit community. New York / New Jersey Common Report Form

In Adobe format, "to help organizations...save time in grant reporting. The CRF follows closely the format of the New York / New Jersey Area Common Application Form.  If several funders have given your organization support for a particular project, only minor changes in the report information will need to be made for each funder."  Note, though, each funder's deadlines; be certain that your funder(s) accept(s) this format; and be aware that funders may require additional information beyond this report.
