NJ state offices re: agriculture
This state government department develops, protects and promotes the
agricultural industry and its related interests. There are many divisions in
this department. Some of these divisions are: Animal Health, Dairy &
Commodity Regulation, Rural Resources.
The State Agriculture Development Committee is in, but not of, the
Department.
The Jersey Fresh Marketing Program, Agriculture Development Program, the
State Soil Conservation Committee, the Farmland Preservation Program and the
Beneficial Insect Laboratory are all under the NJDA'S jurisdiction.
