Restore, preserve and operate "Lucy the Elephant."
The Save Lucy Committee, Inc. was founded in 1969 and incorporated in 1971 as a non-profit, tax deductible organization of volunteers. The United States Government recognizes this site as a National Historic Landmark built in 1881 on the beach in Margate, NJ.
Open to public: Saturdays and Sundays 10-5, April-mid June, September & October, Memorial and Labor Day. Open daily 10-8 (Monday-Saturday) mid-June through September 2, Sundays 10-5.
Free band concerts offered every Thursday in July and August @ 6:00 PM.
Lucy is available for special holidays and year round to groups of ten or more by appointment.
