Provides services for persons with disabilities.
UCPA/NJ provides advocacy, information and referral, ADA (Americans with disabilities Act training, rehabilitation technology and employment programs. Also, accomodations including adaptive equipment and home construction adaptation. The Advancing Opportunities Program is a division of UCPA/NJ. They are the supported employment component. They place one on one employment consultants with the consumer for competitive job placement.
They work with all adults with disabilities and with transition students from Atlantic and Cape May Special Services School Districts and provide technical assistance for training centers, employers, schools and staff.
