May Is Bicycle Safety Month
As summer quickly approaches and many will be riding their bicycles, it is important to remember that the month of May is Bicycle Safety Month. The Ocean City Library wants to remind everyone, especially younger children, of the many hazards they may face and how to avoid them if possible so that they may have a safe and enjoyable summer vacation. Students attending the Ocean City Primary School and St. Augustine's will receive a packet, courtesy of the Library, containing a Bicycle Safety Activity Book, Safety Star stickers, crayons, a Bicycle Safety Pledge Card, and a pack of "Smarties" candies reminding them to be "Smart about Biking"!
