Early Literacy
As part of the Library's on-going mission to promote literacy for all ages, we continue to distribute "Baby Bags" in cooperation with Shore Memorial Hospital. Each bag contains information on literacy and resources to find help for adults or for English as a second language, information on the free Library story time programs as well as a magnetic "Our Little Reader" picture frame, bookmarks with suggested books to read to little ones, a Baby Care slide guide generously provided by the Friends and Volunteers of the Ocean City Library, and most importantly a popular board book for parents and child to read together.
