- Abstract:
Forests are important because of their ecological, economic and social functions, however, a variety of negative phenomena such as: drying of forests, fires, attacks of various pests, strong winds, highlight the need to improve the protection of forests in order to improve their health and quality. The research was carried out in the stands of spruce on 37 harvested trees in in a systematic staged network of 100m x 100m, the forest management area "Gornjebosansko", economic unit "Gornja Stavnja", department 65. Collected data on the presence of decay are systematically processed to clarify the process of decay on the trunnk of the spruce. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Šume su značajne zbog njihovih ekoloških, ekonomskih i socioloških funkcija, međutim, niz različitih negativnih pojava kao što su: sušenje šuma, požari, napadi raznih štetnika, jaki vjetrovi, ističu potrebu unaprjeđenja zaštite šuma s ciljem poboljšanja njihovog zdravstvenog stanja i kvaliteta. Istraživanja su provedena u sastojini smrče na 37 oborenih stabala na premjernim površinama koje su raspoređene u sistematski postavljenoj mreži 100m x 100m, šumskogospodarsko područje „Gornjebosansko", gospodarska jedinica ,,Gornja Stavnja", odjeljenje 65. Prikupljeni podaci o prisustvu truleži su sistematično obrađeni s ciljem pojašnjenja toka procesa truleži na stablima smrče. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
