This class is designed to provide the student with a basic knowledge of how to design your tree and the sites and records which will enable you to research your tree.  The instructor, Helen Fink has 40+ years of experience with researching records and utilizing DNA to verify your results and increase your matches.  The class will utilize computer sites (both free and paid sites) and how to enlarge your tree from various internet sites.  Handouts will be provided for these research sites,  utilizing different records,  brief description of usefulness of DNA in making and verifying matches, etc.  Helen has continued to teach in various facilities within Cape May County including libraries and the local vocational school.  DNA testing is not required for this class as the focus will be at a beginners and intermediate level with the Wednesday evening class concentrating more with increased use of DNA and requires DNA testing to be completed..  Please have your username and passwords for each class as we will be utilizing the computers for research as well as designing your tree if you have not done so.
