Revive and Improve Your Creative Nonfiction – A Six-Week Workshop

Thursdays, April 13 - May 18, 2023

10:00am-11:30am

Room N111

Attention local writers of nonfiction. It’s time for a treasure hunt. Start the search for those partial or completed first drafts for a book or article in the genre of creative nonfiction that have been languishing in a desk drawer waiting for you to be reinspired. Or perhaps you have as-yet unwritten ideas for a great piece and want to get started on the right foot. Bring your essay, memoir, family history, travel or food piece, etc. to a gathering of serious writers striving for the next level. As writers, we periodically get stuck and need some clarity to reignite our creativity. Facilitator, Eva Feeley, will share strategies, skills, and hands-on exercises to make your writing more literary, including creating strong and engaging beginnings, central characters, and dialogue.

Eva Feeley has led popular workshops in all genres of creative writing for over a decade. She is the author of “Listen to Me, Young Lady”, a memoir and “Survivors of Snake Bites”, poetry collection.

Registration is required.

Registration opens March 10 at 9AM.

Seats are limited.
