Winter & Spring 2023 Lecture Series - Personal Safety Seminar
Thursday June 8th at 7pm

Learn how to reduce your risks and improve your safety whether you are at home, out shopping, or just out around town. Find out how burglars, robbers, and other predators select their targets. Know what to do (and what not to do) when encountering suspicious activity.

Guest speaker Tom Davey was employed as a law enforcement officer for 28 years. His career started with the Atlantic County Sheriff’s Department. Then, he joined the Galloway Township Police Department and served as a police officer in Galloway Township for 25 years.

While in Galloway Township, he served as an officer, a sergeant, and a lieutenant. At various times, he supervised the Patrol Bureau, Detective Bureau, Department Training, Crisis Negotiation Team, and Emergency Management.

He has been instructing safety and self-defense courses for over 30 years. His goal is to teach people how to protect themselves and their families from criminal activity, showing them how to recognize, avoid, and respond to various types of crimes.
